Mit dem Beginn meines Musikwissenschaftsstudiums<\/b> an der Universit\u00e4t Wien begann 2005 meine musikwissenschaftliche Karriere. Damals wusste ich noch nicht einmal, ob ich nach dem ersten Semester \u00fcberhaupt weitermachen oder mir ein anderes Studium suchen w\u00fcrde, geschweige denn, dass mich das Studium der Musikwissenschaft die n\u00e4chsten 14 Jahre<\/b> begleiten sollte.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meine Lieblingsfrage war immer: „Und was macht man dann damit?“<\/b> Eine konkrete Antwort kann ich auch heute noch nicht geben, ich hab einen Doktor damit gemacht. \ud83d\ude09 – Und genau das, was mir Freude gemacht hat.<\/p>\n

Erz\u00e4hl mir mehr<\/span>

<\/b>F\u00fcr das Doktorat<\/b> wechselte ich an die Universit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien<\/b>, wo ich in den Jahren 2013-2019<\/b> – mit Hilfe eines \u00d6AW-Stipendiums – an meiner Dissertation „HipHop-Musik aus \u00d6sterreich. Lokale Aspekte einer globalen kulturellen Ausdrucksform“<\/b> arbeitete. Ich wurde in dieser Zeit zwei mal in die USA eingeladen, um zu diesem Thema zu referieren und hielt weitere Vortr\u00e4ge in \u00d6sterreich und Deutschland.<\/span><\/p>\n

2020<\/b> trug mein Studium erste Fr\u00fcchte. Nicht nur dass mein Artikel „Hybridit\u00e4t im HipHop. Eine Szene, zwei Nationen und ein ‚dritter‘ Raum“<\/b> ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde. Des Weiteren konnte ich mein Wissen zu HipHop erstmals als Lektor an der MDW im WS 20\/21<\/b> weitergeben. <\/p>\n

2021<\/b> wird nun auch noch meine Dissertation als Buch beim Transcript-Verlag<\/b> publiziert und im Laufe des Jahres weitere Artikel in Fachzeitschriften erscheinen.<\/p>\n

Neben meiner akademischen T\u00e4tigkeit betrieb ich 2012 mit „Es war einmal HipHop“ eine Radiosendung<\/b> auf Radio Orange zur Geschichte von HipHop, bevor ich 2013 f\u00fcr \u00d61 das Radiokolleg „Die Rapsaga: HipHop made in Austria“<\/b> produzierte. Die Radiosendung wurde unter gleichem Namen danach noch f\u00fcr ein Jahr als Kolumne f\u00fcr das VOLUME-Magazine<\/b> fortgef\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n
